Where did you grow up?  Staples, MN  About the same size as Cambridge.

Where did you go to college? Bemidji State University  AKA – Brrrrrrmedji

What was your reason for becoming a teacher? Teaching Industrial Tech since 1990.  I always liked the school environment.

In your opinion, what’s the best part about teaching?  One on one with the students.

Do you have any kids? Pets? Spouse?  My wife and I now have three yellow labs (Rex, Cinder and Sadie).

Do you have any hobbies you love to do in your spare time? Motorcycling (Harleys and Japanese motorbikes), flying radio controlled airplanes (crashing), hunting and fishing.

What’s your favorite season and why?  The spring when all the snow melts and finally goes away.

What is on your bucket list? Would like to own and fly an ultralight airplane (no crashing).  Also, sail across Lake Superior (no Edmund Fitzgerald).

What is the best vacation you have ever taken?  Hiking the state and federal parks in Utah without getting lost.

In three words how would you describe yourself?  The only word I can think of is Explorer; the rest my wife would disagree.
