National Honor Society logged over one thousand hours of service

NHS Staff

The Cambridge-Isanti High School Chapter of National Honor Society (NHS) volunteered over 1,000 hours of service in the communities and the schools last year.  As an organization last year, our group had 89 members, who each are required to volunteer a minimum of 10 hours of community service.  Many students go well above those hours.  Students completed tasks like tutoring in the school, assisting with technology for testing, helping our neighbors and local churches, helping with fundraisers in other buildings within our school, assisting at parent/teacher conferences, to name a few.

NHS will hold its induction of new members on October 30th at 7:00 p.m.(reception to follow).  CIHS Alum and current Star Tribune leader Katie Humphrey will be the keynote speaker for induction ceremony.
