CIHS Senior Jared Bruss went to the Trump Rally in downtown Minneapolis on Thursday October 10th. Because of his support of Trump he was spit on, yelled at and someone even tried lighting his Trump cape on fire. He said he felt safe until his walk back to find his car when the protesters started to get aggressive.

CIHS senior Emma Moran also went downtown but she was there to protest. She felt that some of the protesters went too far in their behavior but she still felt it was good for her to exercise her first amendment right to protest.
