Where did you grow up? I grew up in Becker Minnesota

Where did you go to college? I graduated from South Dakota State University, St. Cloud State University and Will graduate from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota in January (if I finish a really big research project).

What was your reason for becoming a teacher? I have wanted to teach for a very long time (since high school), I have subbed off and on for about 18 years and this is my first full year of teaching.

In your opinion, what’s the best part about teaching? Working with the students and watching them progress through the years.

Do you have any kids? Pets? Spouse? I have a husband, 3 children and currently 2 cats.

Do you have any hobbies you love to do in your spare time? When i have spare time, I knit, read and fish.

What’s your favorite season and why? My favorite season is winter. I love the snow and the cold.

What is on your bucket list? I really don’t have a bucket list. When I have a dream I work to achieve it. Three years ago I wanted to work on a new teaching license and I am almost finished accomplishing that goal.

What is the best vacation you have ever taken? 4 years ago I got to show my children  Disney World. We got to take a day and visit the Atlantic Ocean. Then later that same year I got to take my first vacation without children. My husband and I flew to San Diego. So in 2016 saw both oceans.

In three words how would you describe yourself? Quiet, Reserved, Organized.
