With a brand new school year comes new teachers. Some of the brand-new teachers consist of Mr Dunnick and Mr. Schultz. While Mr Schutz has been here for a year, Mr Dunnick has just moved into the high school for the 2024-2025 school year. Mr Schultz (before working at CIHS) had worked as a student teacher in Coon Rapids for three months. Before working here, Mr. Dunnik had worked at Isanti Middle School. Mr. Dunnick likes working at CIHS because ¨ The staff is amazing, and I really like to assist high schoolers to plan for their future¨. Mr Schultz likes working here due to the fact, ¨ it is a path that turned out way better than I expected it to. It had been like a dream come true.¨
Mr Dunnick became a teacher because ¨ I just like the unexpectedness of teaching high schoolers, and I love making a difference.¨
Mr Schultz became an educator because ¨each of my parents are educators, and I chose health specifically because I know I am helping at least one kid.¨ I asked them both how they’d describe this school.
Mr. Dunnick stated ¨ exciting¨, and Mr. Schultz said ¨ developmental¨. As a student, I have had Mr Dunnick at IMS and Mr Schultz for exercise science. I can say that they are each extremely kind, caring, properly educated, and extraordinarily caring to their students. they’re amazing teachers and even more tremendous humans. They don’t treat their students like students; they treat them like their equals. I’m so happy they are here at CIHS and know they will do remarkable things at this school.
