I recently had the opportunity to interview members of the yearbook club. Normally, I would write a detailed article about the experience and my interactions with the people involved, but for this interview, I decided to take a different approach. I recorded, edited, and added effects to the video and spoke with everyone who volunteered to share their insights about the yearbook club and its operations. This was my first time creating an interview video, but I have many years of experience with recording and effects due to my passion for stop motion and filmmaking. You can find the link to the video below my introduction.

In conclusion, the interview has made it clear that the community of students and teachers in the yearbook club is wonderful. The club is made up of just a handful of students, and they are eager for new members to join. Participants get the chance to engage in photography, writing articles, organizing, designing, and much more. They welcome any ideas and assistance to help make the yearbook both memorable and creative.
I observed many dedicated students who work tirelessly, especially considering there are thousands of students but only a small team responsible for creating a stellar yearbook. In addition to the yearbook, they also handle picture day and other events that you might not have noticed. Although they are flexible, it’s important to be punctual when they meet to discuss and create the yearbooks.
I see many people judging the finished products without realizing that the club has limited time to perfect over a thousand yearbooks for every student. Sometimes, things may take longer than expected due to the extensive workload involved. The yearbook club is one of the smallest organizations in the school, and rather than simply judging their work, I encourage you to help, join, and support them.
All the students are doing their best, just like you. I know that any positivity you provide would be greatly appreciated. If you decide to join, please respect the confidentiality surrounding the yearbooks and the club’s activities, as this helps maintain an element of surprise each year.
During my visits, I observed a strong sense of community among the members; there was no judgment or conflict. Instead, I witnessed teamwork, communication, support, kindness, joy, and determination.
The club meets every week in Mrs. Ek’s room (Room 150) on Tuesdays from 3:30 PM to around 5:00 or 6:00 PM. If you know someone involved with the club, they would be happy to help you join or allow you to attend a few meetings to see if you’re interested. You can also ask any questions you may have, and Mrs. Ek is available in Room 150 to provide more information.
Thank you for reading this article and for watching the video. Please remember to respect and support the yearbook club on their journey to capture our school memories
