May 23rd was Culture Day at Cambridge-Isanti High School, and what a day it was! Many students wore traditional clothing from their cultural homelands.
Here are some fun facts about the cultures at C-I Schools:
We have 15 different languages spoken within our school district.
In the last 9 years, we have exited 91 students from the English Language Lerner Program (ELL).
In the 2024-25 school year, we had 173 English Language Learner (ELL) students.
Students were set up in the foyer in front of the cafeteria, wearing traditional clothing and displaying items representative of different cultures. Following that, during the fifth hour, the students held a program in the Performing Arts Center, which included readings, dance, poetry, and music. It was amazing to see all the talent walking the halls of Cambridge-Isanti High School.
Congratulations to Yulia Pais and all of her students for an exceptional educational experience.
