What is happening to our world?
We’re watching everything fall apart.
Dead animals lying in the ditches.
Plastic bags are stuck in the trees.
Big black smoke coming from buildings.
Tearing up the land to make more and more buildings.
We’re watching the Earth become one big landfill.
Kids are growing up with iPads to entertain themselves instead of playing outside in the sun.
“What are trees?”
“What does fresh air smell like?”
“What’s a flower?”
“What color is a clear sky?”
If future generations have to ask this, then we have failed as humans.
We’re destroying this world with no second thought.
We tear down trees as if there’s an infinite supply.
Spending just an hour without your phone is rare.
What would happen if all of our devices, buildings, and cars were taken away? What if we suddenly had to live without it all?
Would we survive, or would we forget how to function as normal living beings without them?
Life is so easy for us that when we actually have to work for something, we can’t stand it. We build more and more to make things easier for us, to do less, to put in less effort.
You say that we’re “becoming more modern“, or making things “more convenient“.
But really, we’re just making our future helpless.
When will we realize this isn’t good for us?
When will we notice that we are destroying our world?
Most importantly, when will we take action?
